Generate over 20 barcode types and create unique, full color labels with WaspLabeler, our “TopTenREVIEWS Silver Award” winner. This software can pull data from QuickBooks and includes over 100 label templates.
WaspLabeler can print to standard printers and thermal printers in their own language. It can even connect to an ODBC database, which is a feature usually found in more expensive products.

Bar Codes:
WaspLabeler offers a useful collection of barcode fonts that includes UCC/EAN 128 as well as a variety of Code 39s, UPCs, RSS 14s, Code 128s, EAN/JANs and more. In total this program comes with nearly 25 barcode fonts.
Compatibility:
Created barcodes can be saved as images, printed with standard printers and copied into Word or other programs. WaspLabeler can also inport data from other programs, like QuickBooks.
Label Design Tools:
The label designer that comes with WaspLabeler is capable of creating all kinds of labels and has a helpful label wizard to guide you through the whole process from page setup to data selection to barcode generation. With the designer, you can change the color of the barcode as well as background color; you can also change orientation, width, height and more. Images can be added and resized easily and you can add shapes and change text fonts.
Ease of Use:
This software is pretty easy to use, we created our first barcode within minutes and also figured out how to change layout, font and color without having to consult the help pages. Although, this program is a bit harder to use than simple barcode generators since it is has more features and tools to master.
Help/ Support:
Wasp technical support can be contacted by email. You can consult their help pages online or embedded help for questions. However, we could not find a technical support telephone number.
Summary:
WaspLabeler comes with a good collection of barcode fonts and has a powerful label designer—overall, this is a capable and affordable choice for small businesses.
