X–BARZ software from Unibar lets you add 1D and 2D barcodes to Microsoft Windows applications, using the capabilities of ActiveX and Microsoft .NET controls.

With X–BARZ, you can easily produce high–quality barcoded invoices, packing slips, pick lists, labels, purchase orders and many other documents. X–BARZ does not require special fonts, bit–mapped graphics or special printer hardware.

X–BARZ lets you produce a wide variety of barcode symbologies, among which are Code 3 of 9, Extended 3 of 9, Codabar, Code 128, UCC–EAN 128, USS–128, Interleaved 2 of 5, EAN–8, EAN–13, Plessey, Postnet, UPC 2, UPC 5, UPC–A, UPC–E and UPC Version D, and optional PDF417(2D).

And with X–BARZ, you have complete control over such barcode parameters as height, width, rotation, ect.

Supports data binding

It’s easy to produce reports and labels with barcodes using databases that support ActiveX controls. With X–BARZ, you bind fields in a database to the control and automatically generate barcodes for each record.

Produces high–quality, high–speed graphic output

X–BARZ produces quality output at any size, even with high–resolution printers, without requiring extra fonts. X–BARZ works by creating Windows metafile (“vector”) graphics (WMF). These are scalable and device–independent, and are compatible with all Microsoft applications.

For output to Web servers, X–BARZ also creates PNG–format graphics. And for added versatility, the X–BARZ .NET control can also provide JPG and GIF formats.
